Netflix Binge Watch: Bates Motel

The Bates Motel come out in March 2013 but I have only just started watching it. It consists of five season each containing 10 episodes. This programme drags you right into it from the beginning with the first episode someone dying.

A mother moves with her son, after her husband dies, buying a motel but nothing is normal about this family or about their life. This programme was created by Alfred Hitchcock and is based on the book of the same name which was written by Robert Bloch. Which in turn is loosely based on the true story of serial killer Ed Gein. This whole programme is also adapted from the film psycho created in 1960.

Saint Raymond Takes Tunbridge Wells.

Callum Burrows, 23 and professionally known as Saint Raymond, is a singer-songwriter from Nottingham. He started gaining popularity from 2013, touring with Ed Sheeran in 2014 and since then has gain a big fan base.

Saint Raymond and his band played at Tunbridge Wells’ Forum on 9th November 2018. This was my first time seeing him live, although I have been a fan for a long time now. Watching the small venue in Tunbridge Wells come alive and connect together just by a stranger singing songs everyone knew made the whole experience so uplifting.

Why I’m Doing This.

Why I Write?

Three simple words that are answered differently by everyone who is asked it. Some people write to understand or for curiosity, while others write for fun or happiness. However I think in some ways we all write for the same reasons, to be apart of something more. Something bigger than what we are. To get lost in your own head and words just for a moment.
