Education:

Education,
You taught me a lot,
From how to count,
To how to pass a test,
Yes,
You taught me a lot,
But never what I needed,
I know how to find the area,
Of any shape you want,
Or even tell you how rivers work,
Yes,

You taught me a lot,
But what about teaching me the things I need,
Where do all the important things come in,
You tell me to sit still,
Be quiet and put my hand up,
That’s not how the real world works,
But how am I meant to know,
When all you do is shove me into a system,
A system that’s messed up more,
Than the kids within it,
Yes,
You taught me a lot,
But I need more,
Or I feel my brain might not be satisfied.
